BLT Pizza

BLT Pizza

Serves 4-8
Prep time 20 minutes
Cook time 10 minutes
Total time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Batch pizza dough
  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • 4oz mozzarella (shredded)
  • 4-6 Strips bacon (cooked & crumbled)
  • 2-3 cups romaine lettuce (chopped & washed)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • salt

Note

Prep time does not include time to make pizza dough.

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. If you have a pizza stone, preheat it in the oven.
Step 2
Roll the pizza dough to desired thickness on a sheet of parchment paper and spray or brush lightly with olive oil. Evenly distribute the tomato slices over the pizza crust and sprinkle lightly with salt.
Step 3
Sprinkle the cheese then the crumbled bacon evenly over the pizza. Place in oven, on the pizza stone if you are using one. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the pizza reaches desired color.
Step 4
Place the lettuce into a bowl and toss with mayonnaise. Slice the pizza and distribute the lettuce over the pizza.
